Fine-grained, very porous material. Wide choice available due to the variety of materials and cuts; colours vary from straw-yellow to hazel and white. Blocks measure, on average, 2.70×1.60×1.40 m. The preferred cut is the cross-cut, creating slabs with horizontal veins. It is a resistant material, suitable for both interior and exterior environments.
